Love the arrow on the foot, this is the leg for examination under anaesthetic! Everything went well, always reassuring when your child’s orthopaedic surgeon says ‘I tried to dislocate her hip and I couldn’t, it all seems really stable’.

Veronika recovered well from the anaesthetic, has had a couple of drinks of her formula this afternoon, something to eat and is fast asleep on Possum ward.

Tomorrows plan is for the OT and Physio to stop and see Veronika, check and make adjustments to her car seat and wheelchair, and we can book our flight home.
