Veronika says a huge THANKYOU to the team at Oishi-m for sending her a some Harem jeans to try, to see what the fit was like over her AFO’s.
They were sent while Veronika was doing her last rehab block at Monash Chilrens’s hopsital, as soon as she opened the parcel she wanted to put them on!
Veronika wore the harems quite a few times when she was in hospital. We would often get stopped by someone saying ‘i love your girls trousers’….’where did you get them from?’ The print on them is fun and suits my girls personality.
This photo was taken after we were back home and out for a walk along the foreshore track, people were stopping us while we were out for a walk to say they loved her trousers.
The fit of the harems is excellent, especially around her bottom. Veronika wears a pull up due to her incontinence, and there’s plenty of room for a pull up under the harems. We also love that the band at the bottoms stretches over her AFO’s(Veronika’s orthotics that keep the lower part of her legs, ankles and feet in a natural position). There is plenty of room for growth in the width and once my girl grows taller I can see them being worn as fun 3/4 pants. The other great design feature is the tummy toastie, that keeps the harems from sliding down when Veronika is sitting in her wheelchair. Most jeans that she has worn in the past slid down when she was sitting in her wheelchair and I had given up trying to find suitable jeans for my girl to wear whilst in her wheelchair, so we love the tummy toastie to keep them from sliding down, and to keep her tummy toastie on our spring days in Tassie
THANKYOU once again for sending Veronika the Airday harems to try. She has been wanting to wear them often(whenever they aren’t in the wash!)
