What a huge 10 days we have had on Veronika’s journey….I continue to be amazed by my girls strength, determination and positive energy. Veronika amazes me with what she copes with and this last 10 days has been no exception. The massive surgery she went through on April 16th, some challenges/complications following surgery, yet she continues to smile…..yesterday Veronika was discharged from the Royal Childrens hospital Melbourne and we went home and surprised family. Today wasn’t the quiet day at home I had planned, instead we had to visit the after hours doctor, followed by an email to her surgeon…..never a dull moment with my girl, she keeps me on my toes!
