30th April 2015…my girl is amazing

I know I’ve said it before, and I’m sure I will say it many times again….my girl is amazing.

We have had a crazy week since returning home from Royal Childrens Hospital last Friday….Veronika has developed a nasty nasty pressure sore from her plaster and has had appointments everyday except Tuesday to try to manage it. Apart from that she is tolerating her plaster spica reasonably well.

Veronika has an amazing wonderful medical team supporting her, I couldn’t tell you how many emails have been sent backwards and forwards since last Friday to her medical team.

We dropped into school briefly to say hello to Veronikas class earlier this week and I will never tire of hearing the excitement in her friends when the say ‘Veronika’s here’ to their teacher.

For now though if I could just get some sleep in between turning my girl to help relieve the pressure…..
